FAQ's

When is the Festival?
Friday 27th June - Sunday 29th June 2025

How do we get into the venue?
This year there will be one main entrance for the Palace Events -The main gate near the pond

Do I need ID?
We will need to identify over 18s for alcohol sales purposes and you could be further challenged when you are purchasing drinks. ID will be checked at the gate on entry and wristbands issued to identify over 18s.

Can I buy tickets on the day?
There will be no sales on the Friday Night on the Saturday w
e plan to do a head count at 6pm and release some late tickets on the door. On the Sunday open air theatres there will be tickets available on the gate

Can we go in and out of the venue?
No Re-entry at any time on the Friday night, No Re-entry after 6.30pm on the Saturday, Re-entry is fine on the Sunday.

Is the Museum open so we can find out about the venue?
For the Saturday event the museum is planning to be open

Are Dogs Allowed?
Friday Night No,Saturday & Sunday yes but on a lead please and please ensure you clean up after your dog.

I want to see a particular act but can't get to the festival early. Is there a discount on tickets on the door if I attend after a certain time?
No. We are sorry that you are unable to attend earlier and enjoy the whole festival experience. Only full price day tickets may become available for purchase on the door (subject to availability), which allow you to enjoy the programmed events until event close.

Can we bring a Picnic?
On the Friday Night - No, On the Saturday only up until 6pm, on the Sunday Yes

We will have plenty of food available on the site.

Can we bring our own drinks?

On the Friday Night - No, On the Saturday only up until 6pm, on the Sunday Yes

We have a fully stocked bar selling at local pub prices, please do not bring glass into the event though.

Where do I park?
There are numerous car parks and unrestricted roadside parking throughout the local area within walking distance.

Is the event completely disabled accessible?
Yes

I've ordered my tickets but they haven't arrived yet. What should I do?
Almost all tickets are issued by email through our website. You will need to either print your tickets and bring them with you to the festival or have them on your smart phone. Please check your spam or junk folders in case the email has landed there. Please email us at bishopswalthamfestival@gmail.com if you can't find the email.

Are there concessionary rated tickets?
Friday & Saturday No, Sunday Yes

I'm bringing my children with me and they are both under 5, do they require a ticket?
Yes, everyone needs a ticket

I live in Bishops Waltham. Is there a resident's discount?
No. We do not currently offer a resident's discount on any of our tickets.

I bought my tickets early and now discover I can't come, can I get a refund?
Please feel free to email me at bishopswalthamfestival@gmail.com and we will happily refund them and re-allocate them for sale to the public.

I don’t have a printer to print my e-tickets, is this a problem?
If you are able to print your ticket this will speed up the process when you arrive at the gate. If you aren’t able to print your ticket you can show it to us on a smart phone.
