Spend a glorious summer afternoon in the picturesque grounds of Bishop’s Waltham Palace at our Family Picnic Concert, featuring a full 60-piece orchestra performing an exciting programme of music from blockbuster films, classic musicals, and beloved favourites from the Last Night of the Proms.

This relaxed open-air event is perfect for families and friends.

Gates open at 12:00pm, giving you plenty of time to choose the perfect picnic spot, enjoy the unique medieval surroundings, and settle in before the music begins. The concert starts at 1:00pm and continues through the afternoon, with the event finishing at 4:00pm.

Expect everything from the sweeping adventure of Jurassic Park to the irresistible rhythms of Guys & Dolls, leading to a rousing Proms-style finale with “Rule Britannia,” “Land of Hope and Glory,” and “Jerusalem.”
